Tip 1: Careful planning saves time

Tip 2: Start packing early

The easiest way to save money is to do the packing yourself. Tip 3: Get plenty of packing materials

Always have plenty of packing boxes. It is better to have extra boxes left over, than run out at a crucial time on the day. Packing boxes can always be returned, if undamaged and unused. Make sure you have plenty of packing tape, bubble wrap, wrapping or newspaper, string and other moving materials on hand.

Tip 4: Organize Boxes

Organize boxes into needed first or later items. Make sure you pack your belongings properly and label each box clearly, needed first in bold red letters, less used or low priority items can then be unpacked at your leisure. Pack your books and other heavy objects in small boxes so that they’re easier to handle. When lifting squat and use your feet to lift, do not bend over.
