Terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions explain the responsibilities, obligations and rights of all the parties involved in this agreement. Where we use the words ‘you’ or ‘your’ it relates to you the customer and ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ means AA Moves the remover. These terms and conditions can be varied or amended by prior written agreement.
1.1 There is a 2 hour minimum on all jobs. after 2 hours are completed, jobs are charged in half hour increments pro-rata on the agreed rate depending on how many men provided.
1.2 Charging time commences when we arrive at the pick-up address and finishes when we have delivered the last item.
1.3 For jobs requiring travel within the Congestion Charge Zone £10 will be added to your bill. But will be free for jobs over 4 hours.
1.4 For jobs requiring travel outside the M25 Motorway additional fuel charges of £0.40 per mile will be added to your bill.
1.5 Parking must be arranged by the customer each collection and delivery point, And any parking charges and fines must be paid by the customer on completion of the job. We strongly recommend you gain parking dispensation from the local authorities both at pick-up and delivery addresses.
1.6 Additional charges may be incurred for delays that are caused by events outside our reasonable control.
1.7 Additional charges will be incurred for work outside business hours.
1.8 Should you require items and rubbish to be disposed of at the Council Tip then the minimum charge is £50 to cover fees.
2.1 Our liability for damage or loss to goods in transit, loading or unloading is restricted to damage caused by collision or overturning of our vehicle, theft or fire.
2.2 We accept no liability for damage or loss of items other than as stated in clause 2.1. You can make your own arrangements for ‘goods-in-transit’ insurance cover should you require this.
3.1 It is your responsibility to dismantle any beds, furniture, units and Hi-Fi systems in advance of our arrival. You are also responsible for re-assembly of such items unless agreed in advance.
3.2 It is your responsibility to ensure complete access for removal of large items that may require removal of doors or windows as our staff are not insured for work that requires a craftsman.
4.1 Although we will endeavour to arrive at the pick-up or delivery points on time, but these times given are estimates only. Other than our negligence or breech of contract will we be liable for delays in transit.
5.1 Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the booked service time will be charged at a minimum of a 2 hours service.
